Hello,

My name is Shelby Goulart and I am your child's 6th grade math teacher! I am very excited to start the third quarter and look forward to meeting you and your child. I was born in Antioch, California, and attended the University of Nevada Reno to get my degree in mathematics and secondary education. This is my first year teaching and I am so excited to get this journey started at Mendive MS. I was also a tutor for the program Upward Bound through UNR. We served low income first generation High School students, and our main focus was STEM education, but also helped in History, English, and some language classes.

I have a dog named Cali, and my family all live in California where I was born and grew up for a majority of my life. I have two sisters, Morgan and Jaelyn, and I am smack in the middle of them!

I am very excited to meet all of you and can't wait to get the school year underway.
